Watch Palace

We've been here at the Sun Flower Complex for a while now. You can find us right across from Janta Ice Cream on Gurukul Road. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when people come for dessert and then wander over. The shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. Most days it’s just us fixing straps or changing batteries for neighbors who drop by on their way home. We see a lot of the same faces every week. Sometimes the door sticks a bit if the weather is humid, but we don’t mind it much. We keep the glass cases clean, though fingerprints always show up by noon. It’s just how it goes when people are looking closely at the dials and pointing at things they like. We have wall clocks too, and they all tick at slightly different times which makes a funny noise if you really stop to listen. My nephew helps out on weekends when it gets crowded. We don't do anything fancy here. If a watch stops working, we take a look and see if it’s an easy fix. Often it's just a dead battery or a loose pin that needs a nudge. We’ve got some old wooden stools for people to sit while they wait for us to finish. The lighting is a bit bright, but it helps when you're working with those tiny screws that are hard to see. We don't have a big neon sign, just the name on the glass. It’s a simple setup. We like being part of the Gurukul Road community. It's nice to know the people who live around here and help them out.
