Target Sign Tech Pvt.Ltd is tucked away in the basement of Kalash-Ii. You have to go behind the Navrangpura Post Office to find us, near the Jain Derasar. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice when the Gujarat sun is beating down outside. We have our big printing machines and sign-making equipment set up in the main room. There is always a faint smell of ink and plastic in the air. The space is a little tight because we have rolls of vinyl and boards leaning against the walls most of the time. Navrangpura is a hectic area, so finding a parking spot near the office is usually a struggle for anyone coming by. We don’t have any big flashy signs for ourselves, ironically, just the work we are doing for everyone else. Sometimes the lighting down here is a bit dim, but we have some extra lamps over the work tables so we can see what we are cutting. It is a quiet place for the most part, except for the hum of the plotters running all day long. We just get on with the jobs as they come in, whether it is a small sticker or a big banner. Usually, we are just focused on getting the colors right and making sure the edges are straight before things go out the door. It’s just a normal day-to-day business in a busy city.
