G. Fragrances

Our shop is M-31 over in the New Madhupura Market on Shahibaug Road. If you know the area, we are right near the Police Commissioner’s office, which makes it easy for folks to find us. G. Fragrances has been in this market for a while now. It’s a busy place, especially in the afternoons when the market really wakes up and the crowds come through. We spend most of our time surrounded by small bottles and various oils. It’s a lot of sniffing and mixing to get things right. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cramped when we get new stock in, but we make do with the space we have. We’ve got shelves lining the walls filled with all sorts of scents. Most people who come in are looking for something specific for their own business or just a small bottle for home. We don’t go in for big marketing or anything. We just sit here, talk to our customers, and show them what we have on the shelves. The traffic on Shahibaug Road can be quite loud, but once you step into the market, it’s a different world. We know the other shopkeepers around here too. It’s a good community. We’ve had some long days where we are just counting stock until late at night. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a fragrance business. We like the work though. It keeps us busy and the air always smells interesting.
