Warp & Weft Handicraft Private Limited is located at number 27 in the Tejdhara Bungalows area. We are in the first block, near the Prernatirth Derasar Road. If you are driving along the 100 Feet Ring Road in Anandnagar, you’ll find us near the Regency Plaza. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the main city center, which is nice when we are working on detailed pieces. The name says it all, we work with handicrafts. There are always bits of thread, fabric, or wood shavings around the place depending on what we are making that week. The office is really more of a workshop where we keep the finished items before they go out. We’ve got shelves filled with things people have made by hand. It feels a bit like a home because it’s in a bungalow area. The sunlight comes in through the front windows in the afternoon and lights up all the colors of the crafts. We don’t have a big fancy showroom, just a space where the work happens. Neighbors often walk by on their way to the temple or the local market. It’s a steady pace of life here in Anandnagar. We spend our hours checking the quality of the weaving or the carvings and packing them up carefully so they don't break. It’s a lot of manual labor, but it’s what we do for a living.
