Ridis Exports

Ridis Exports is tucked away at 105, Anand Mangal 1, right behind Femina Town on C.G. Road. It’s a lively part of town to work in, though the noise from the street can be a bit much when we’re trying to concentrate on paperwork. Our office isn’t anything special to look at—just some desks, a couple of old filing cabinets, and a printer that seems to have a mind of its own. Most of our hours are spent dealing with the nitty-gritty of exporting, which means lots of phone calls to shipping agents and staring at customs forms until our eyes hurt. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of patience because things rarely go exactly as planned. A container might get stuck at the port or a document might need a last-minute signature, and we just have to deal with it. We aren’t some massive company with hundreds of employees; it’s just a small group of us who have been doing this for a while. We know the ins and outs of the trade, and we just focus on getting the job done without making a big fuss about it. C.G. Road is a convenient spot for us, even if finding a place to park is a daily struggle. We’re usually here until late making sure every detail is right before a shipment leaves. It’s steady work and it keeps us on our toes.
