This is where I work from, here at Shwet Shikhar Society in Paldi. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time. I've been living and working in this part of Ahmedabad for quite a few years now. The house number is 5, so it’s easy to find once you get inside the gates. My work involves a lot of paperwork and meeting people who need help with their various requirements. It’s not a big company with lots of staff, just me mostly. I handle things as they come. People from the neighborhood know me, and I know them. It makes things easier when you’ve been in the same spot for a long time. I usually start my day early and keep going until the work is done. There’s no big sign outside or anything like that. Paldi is a nice place to be based. It has a good feel to it. I keep my files and desk in one of the rooms here. Sometimes people just drop by to ask a question or drop off some documents. I try to stay organized, but sometimes the desk gets a bit cluttered when things get busy. That’s just how it goes when you’re working on your own. I don’t use any fancy technology, just what I need to get the job finished properly. It’s a simple setup for a simple way of working. Most days are just about keeping up with the requests that come through the door.
