VELANKANNI WORKS LLP

Velankanni Works LLP has its office at M-602 in Tivoli Tower. This is part of the Godrej Garden City in Ahmedabad. It’s a big area, right behind Nirma University off the S.G. Highway. Because it’s a township, it feels a bit different from the city center. We do various types of works, mostly related to infrastructure and maintenance. The office has a good view from the sixth floor, though we don't spend much time looking at it. We are usually too busy staring at schedules or talking to the laborers on the ground in Jagatpur. The commute on the highway can be a pain, but being near the university makes it easy to find. We aren't a big corporate giant. We’re just a small group of people trying to keep things running. Sometimes things go wrong, a pipe breaks or a shipment is short, and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s just the nature of the work. We don't have a polished sales pitch. If someone needs work done, they call us and we see if we can do it. We’ve been at this for a bit now and we know the area well. It’s a lot of back-and-forth between the office and the various sites we look after. We try to be honest about how long things take and what they will cost without any hidden stuff.
