Firoz Khambati

Our office, run by Firoz Khambati, is tucked away in the K B Commercial Centre on the 6th floor. We are in Mirzapur, which is a busy and somewhat old part of Ahmedabad. You have to go up several floors to find us at number 5. The building has been there for a long time and shows its age, but it works for what we need. From our windows, you can see across the rooftops of Mirzapur. It is a straightforward workspace with no extra frills or fancy decorations. We have a couple of desks and the equipment we use every day. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but once you get here, it is usually quiet enough to focus on the tasks at hand. We have been operating from this commercial centre for years now. It is a no-nonsense environment. Most of the time, we are just busy with the day-to-day requirements of our work. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders; we care more about getting the details right on our projects. The neighborhood has its own character, with small shops and lots of local activity. We are just one part of that ecosystem. It is an honest place to work. Sometimes the elevator acts up, and we just deal with it. We are regular people doing our jobs in a city that never really stops moving. It is simple but it works for us.
