Uma Dyechem Industries

We have been here at Phase-2 in the GIDC area for quite some time now. Our factory is located at plot 488, and if you know this part of the industrial estate, it is pretty easy to find. Working with chemicals and dyes isn't always the cleanest job, but it is what we know. My father started things off years ago, and we just kept going with what was working. There are about fifteen of us here on a normal day, mostly local guys who live nearby. The machines make a lot of noise, and the floors often get stained, but that is just how a real dye house looks. We spend most of our mornings checking the batches and making sure the mixing is right. Sometimes the shipments are late or a drum leaks, and we just have to deal with it and move on. It is not a fancy office with air conditioning. We mostly drink tea in the small corner room during our breaks. People come to us when they need specific colors or industrial chemicals for their own production lines. We do not do much advertising because most folks around here already know where we are. Dealing with the heat in the factory during the summer is tough, but we manage. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the containers are loaded onto the trucks by evening. It is a straightforward business, really. We are still at number 488.
