If you come down to Plot No. A-1/12 in Phase-2, you’ll find us easily enough. This part of the Gidc gets a lot of traffic during the morning rush. We spend our days working with different pigments. It’s messy work, to be honest. No matter how careful you are, someone always ends up with a bit of blue or red on their clothes or hands by lunchtime. The shop floor is where most of the action happens. We’ve got the drums lined up and the mixing going on. It’s a practical place. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty. The focus is always on the batches we’re running. Most of us live nearby, so we’ve known each other for a long time. It’s a small crew but we know how to handle the equipment. The air sometimes smells a bit like the materials we use, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. When the sun hits the building in the afternoon, it gets quite warm, so we usually take a short break for tea. It’s just the way things go here. We get the work done, pack it up, and get it ready for the trucks. It’s steady, honest work in a part of town that’s always moving. We don't do anything fancy, just stick to what we know. Our building might look a bit worn, but it serves its purpose for the pigment production we do.
