N. K. Engineering Co.

N. K. Engineering Co. is located at 79/, Phase - I, Gidc., Vatva. We’ve been working out of this unit for a long time. Vatva is a pretty heavy industrial area, so it’s always dusty and there's a lot of noise from the nearby factories. Our place at 79/ is where we do all our engineering work. It’s mostly mechanical stuff, fixing things and making parts when people need them. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us who know our way around a lathe and a welding machine. N. K. Engineering Co. started out as a small dream and it just kind of stayed a small reality. We like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. Phase - I of the Gidc is a good place to be because there's always someone who needs something repaired. Sometimes the heat in the shop gets to be too much, so we take long breaks in the afternoon to avoid the worst of it. We don't have any polished brochures or fancy sales pitches. If someone comes to us with a problem, we see if we can fix it. That’s about as far as our business plan goes. We’ve been at 79/, Phase - I for years and we plan to stay here as long as the work keeps coming in.
