Pradip Dye Chem

We are tucked away in Phase 5 of the GIDC area in Vatva. Our unit is at No. 4506, right behind the New Nirma building. It’s an industrial area, so it’s mostly warehouses and factories around us. We work with dyes and chemicals. It’s a messy business, to be honest. There are often bags of powder and big drums sitting around the floor. You can usually smell the chemicals when you walk in, which is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We wear our boots and aprons and spend the day mixing or moving stock. It's not the kind of place you'd visit in your best clothes. We have a small office space for the paperwork, but most of the action happens in the back. Trucks come and go all day in this part of Vatva, so it’s always a bit noisy and dusty. We’ve been operating here for a long time. We know the guys in the neighboring units and we all help each other out when someone needs a hand moving something heavy. We don't have a big sales team. People know where we are and what we do, so they just get in touch when they need something. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure the batches are right. It's a very practical, hands-on environment every day.
