National Industries

Our place, National Industries, is over at Plot No. 37 in the Satsang Estate. It’s right behind the Safari Hotel, not far from the S. P. Ring Road near Odhav Circle. If you hit the circle, you’re close. It’s a busy spot with lots of vehicles always passing by. We do manufacturing work here. The shop floor is usually loud with machines running. We’ve got a small team. Everyone knows their job and we just get on with it. It’s not a clean-room environment; there’s grease and metal bits around. That’s how it should be in a real factory. We’ve been here at Satsang Estate for quite a while now. The Safari Hotel is a good landmark if you’re trying to give directions to someone. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, someone just yells if a visitor walks in. We handle various industrial parts. It’s hard work and the days can be long. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or whatever else is going on. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. National Industries is just a local business trying to stay busy. We take care of our machines and try to keep things moving. It’s what we know. The Ring Road is always humming, which makes the days go by faster. We focus on the task in front of us.
