National Tools & Hardware

National Tools & Hardware is located at 2341-A Makeriwad. We are right near the Mahalaxmi Petrol Pump on Relief Road. If you’ve ever been down Relief Road, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. Our shop is packed floor to ceiling with all kinds of tools and bits of hardware. Sometimes it feels like we are running out of space, but we always manage to squeeze in one more crate of hammers or boxes of screws. We’ve been here for years, and the walls show it. It’s a bit dusty, and the floor is worn down from all the feet walking in and out. People come to us when they need something specific for a repair or a building project. We don’t have a website or a fancy catalog. Most of the time, we just know where everything is by memory. If someone asks for a specific wrench, we can usually point to the exact corner where it’s hiding. My dad used to run a shop similar to this, and I just took over the trade. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day and moving heavy boxes around. But we like the regulars who stop by to chat while they buy their supplies. The traffic outside never stops, but inside we just focus on the hardware. It’s a simple business, nothing more and nothing less. We just sell what people need to get their own work done and that keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
