My workspace is located at 404, Temple Avenue, which is right near the Dharnidhar Derasar in the Vasna area. It’s a pretty good spot because you can hear the temple bells sometimes, which is a nice change from the usual city noise. I don't run a factory or a big shop; it’s more of a personal office where I handle my daily business affairs. The room has a large window that lets in a lot of light, which is good for looking at papers. There is a bookshelf that is starting to lean a bit because it’s so full of files and old binders. I spend most of my time here at the desk, making calls and sorting out the various things that come my way. It’s not a corporate environment at all. I have a small kettle for making tea and a few plants on the windowsill that I sometimes forget to water. People usually come by only if they have an appointment, so it stays fairly quiet for most of the day. Vasna is a nice neighborhood to work in, and being on Temple Avenue makes it easy for people to find me. I’ve been doing this for quite some time now, so I have my own way of organizing things that might look like a mess to someone else, but it works for me. It’s just a simple, practical place to get work done without any distractions or noise.
