We are over at Saraswati Chandra Society, which is a bit different from being in a big commercial tower. It’s unit 51. Being near Chhotalas Chawl gives the place a very specific feel. It’s a bit more tucked away than the main road offices. You can hear the neighborhood sounds, kids playing or people talking outside. We like it this way. It’s more personal. Vasav Shah and the team spend most of the day looking at balance sheets and trying to make sense of new regulations. It’s a small operation. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just looks up from the desk when the door opens. The furniture is a bit mismatched but comfortable enough for long hours. We’ve been in this society for quite some time now. Most of our clients are locals who appreciate that they don't have to navigate the heavy traffic of the city center to reach us. We keep things simple. No big speeches or complicated promises. We just take the documents, do the filing, and make sure everything is in order. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or work by the window light. It’s just a normal office in a normal Ahmedabad society. We do our bit and go home. That’s the whole story of Vasav Shah & Co really.
