You can find us at 09 Laxmi Colony on Ved Mandir Road, right near Kankaria here in Ahmedabad. Shah Mehta Majumdar is a CA firm, but we do not really act like those stiff, formal places you might see in movies or on TV. It is just a local office where we handle taxes, audits, and all the financial stuff that makes most people’s heads spin. The office is usually full of files and tall stacks of paper, especially when tax season rolls around and things get hectic. We have been around this part of Ahmedabad for a long time now. Kankaria is a nice area, even if the traffic gets a bit much during the afternoons. We spend most of our time looking at ledgers and making sure people stay on the right side of the tax rules. It is not particularly exciting work to talk about at a party, but it is important for keeping local businesses running. We do not have any flashy slogans or a big marketing team. It is just us sitting at our desks, drinking tea, and going through rows of figures. If someone comes in with a shoe box full of old receipts, we just sit down and get to work.
