Vasant Trading Co (Gandhi Road)

Vasant Trading Co is located on Gandhi Road inside the Shreeji Complex. We are in units 203 and 204. If you know where the Union Bank of India is, we are right across from it. Gandhi Road is a major place for trading and it’s always crowded. We have been in this complex for a while now. Our shop is on the upper floor so it is a little quieter than the street level. We deal with a lot of different watch parts and finished pieces. Most of our customers are locals who have been living here for decades. We don't spend money on big advertisements or flashy signs. The work speaks for itself I suppose. It’s a two-room setup where we keep our stock and do our repairs. My father started the business and we just kept it going. We have seen many shops come and go on Gandhi Road. We like it here because everyone knows each other. The stairs up to the shop can be a bit steep for some. We try to make everyone feel welcome when they walk in. It’s a practical way to earn a living. We just focus on being reliable. That is how we have always done things. If the bank is open, we are usually open too. It is just a part of the daily routine.
