If you head over to the Civil Hospital area in Asarwa, you’ll find U N Mehta Heart Hospital. It’s a big part of the medical landscape around here. Being near the main Civil Hospital means there’s always people moving around, day and night. We focus on heart stuff, which keeps us pretty occupied. It’s not the kind of place where things stay quiet for long. There’s a lot of equipment and a lot of people in scrubs running around. We see folks from all over who come into Asarwa because they heard this is where the heart specialists are. The building itself has seen a lot of use. The floors are worn in places from all the walking. We don't have a marketing team writing stuff for us, we just have doctors and nurses who stay late most nights. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks and the waiting rooms get quite full with families sitting together. It’s a heavy responsibility, dealing with hearts, but we just take it one patient at a time. The local tea stalls outside stay busy because of all the people coming to visit. It’s a community within a community here in Asarwa. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We’re just a hospital doing heart work in a busy part of the city. Everyone knows where Civil Hospital is, so finding us isn't usually a problem for people who need us.
