Aarna Super Speciality Hospital/Aash

Aarna Super Speciality Hospital, which some people just call Aash, is located in the Shantprabha Height building. We are right at the Jawahar Chowk Cross Road, which is a very active spot in Maninagar, Ahmedabad. If you look across the road, you will see the Ramujilal Memorial Hall, which always has some event or another going on. Being in Maninagar means we are right in the middle of everything. The hospital takes up a good amount of space in the building and we have several floors for different things. The elevators are a bit slow, so a lot of us just take the stairs when we are in a hurry. It is a big operation with a lot of doctors and nurses moving around the corridors. We have the usual hospital smell of cleaning fluids and medicine. The waiting rooms are often full of families sitting together. Outside, Jawahar Chowk is always buzzing with scooters and cars, and the cross road can be a bit of a mess during rush hour. We have a lot of windows, so you can see the hustle and bustle of Ahmedabad while you are inside. It is a serious place because of the kind of work we do, but we try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can. It’s just our daily routine in this tall building in a busy part of the city.
