Travel & Tourism Fair

We spend a lot of our time at the Gujarat University Exhibition Hall in Navrangpura. If you’ve ever been to Ahmedabad, you know it’s a big space that can get quite busy when an event is on. We’re the ones making sure the Travel & Tourism Fair actually happens without too many hiccups. It’s a lot of physical labor, really. We’re often there late at night or early in the morning, making sure the stalls are lined up right and the electrical stuff is working. It’s not a glamorous job, despite what people might think about travel. We spend hours walking on the hard floors, checking in with exhibitors who are usually a bit stressed out. The hall itself is a familiar place to us now. We know where all the light switches are and which doors tend to stick. Navrangpura is a good location, but the traffic can be a nightmare during the fair days. We just try to keep things moving. We don’t have a fancy corporate office; we mostly work out of the venue or on the go. It’s about making sure people have a place to showcase their trips and that visitors don’t get lost. We see all kinds of people coming through, from families looking for a beach holiday to students interested in trekking. It’s a long few days when the fair is running, but we just push through and get the work done.
