Time Art

Our shop is on Jamalpur Road, right across from the Bank of India in the Khamasa area. We have been here for a long time, mostly selling and repairing watches. The shop is small and a bit cramped, but we manage to fit a lot of clocks and watches inside. Sometimes the ticking from all the different clocks gets loud when the street noise dies down, though that doesn't happen often. Jamalpur Road is a very busy place with cars, bikes, and people everywhere. We open up early and spend a lot of time at the small workbench near the front. It takes a steady hand and some patience to fix the tiny parts inside a watch. We see many regular customers from around Khamasa who bring in old watches that have stopped working. We also have new ones in the glass cases if someone wants to buy one. It is a very simple setup we have here. We don't use a lot of technology for our records; much of it is still done by hand. The bank across the street is the best landmark for anyone trying to find us for the first time. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We are just a local shop where we know most of the people who walk by. Sometimes neighbors just stop in to talk for a bit. It is a steady way to live and work.
