Tendertiger.Com, which is part of E Procurement Technologies Ltd, is based in Ahmedabad. Our office is B-705 in the Wall Street-II building, which is right opposite the Orient Club. We’re also quite close to Gujarat College in the Ellis Bridge area. It’s a very central part of the city, so there’s always a lot of traffic and activity outside. The office itself is up on the seventh floor, giving us a bit of a view, though we are usually too busy looking at our screens to notice it. We deal with a lot of data and digital listings every day. It’s a lot of typing, answering emails, and making sure the system is running correctly. The space is filled with the sound of keyboards and people talking on headsets. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s a productive one. We’ve been here for several years, and the office has slowly filled up with more desks and more people. Sometimes it feels like we are outgrowing the space, but we manage to fit everyone in. We don't really do the whole corporate culture thing with fancy events; we mostly just work through our lists and head home. Lunch is usually a quick affair at one of the nearby stalls or someone bringing a dabba from home. It’s a busy, fast-paced spot where we just try to keep up with the daily flow of information and requests.
