Our place is tucked away in the Ravi Estate, specifically units D-16 and D-17. It’s part of the old Juni Rusatam Mill Compound on Dhudheshwar Road. It is an old industrial area, so it isn't the cleanest or most modern place to work. But inside, we are making jewelry. It is a bit of a contrast. Outside there is the noise of the road and other factories, and inside our workers are sitting quietly focusing on small pieces of gold and stones. We have been in this compound for quite a long time. The commute to Dhudheshwar can be a bit much during the monsoon when the roads get muddy. We don't have a showroom here. This is purely where the manufacturing happens. We have a lot of tools, benches, and polishing machines that stay running most of the day. It’s a dusty environment because of all the metalwork. We aren't some big brand you see on billboards. We are just people who know how to make traditional and modern jewelry. Sometimes we have a lot of pressure when a big order is due, and we end up staying late and ordering food for everyone. We know the guards and the other business owners in the estate quite well. It’s a tight-knit community in a way. We just focus on the craft and getting things right for the people who buy from us.
