Tata Chemicals Ltd

Our office is on the 2nd floor of the Avani Complex, specifically B-23. We are located in Naranpura, which is a pretty established part of Ahmedabad. The complex has been here for years, and you can tell by the stairs, which are a bit worn down in the middle. We don't always use the lift because it can be temperamental. Working for Tata Chemicals Ltd from this location means we are right in the thick of the city. There’s a lot of traffic noise from the street below, but once you’re inside B-23, it’s not so bad. We have a few rooms here filled with cabinets and old ledgers. It feels more like a home office than a big corporate suite. We do our work, drink our chai, and try to keep the dust off the monitors. The windows look out over other rooftops and some trees. It’s a practical place. We don't have any fancy signs on the door, just a small nameplate so people know they’ve found the right spot. Most of the people working here have been with the company for a long time, so we know each other's habits. We manage the paperwork and the local distributions. It gets quite busy on Monday mornings when everyone is trying to get things sorted for the week. By Friday afternoon, we’re just looking forward to the weekend like everyone else in Naranpura. We keep the files neat as best as we can.
