Tanzil Exports

You can find Tanzil Exports over at the Greenfield Building near the G.P.O. on Relief Road. It’s a central part of the city and it feels like the heart of the old business district. We deal with exports, which basically means we spend half our lives dealing with paperwork and checking boxes. We have a small office that’s usually filled with the smell of old paper and the hum of the ceiling fans. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out gets to where it’s going in one piece. We deal with different suppliers and try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible. Sometimes the port is backed up or the paperwork gets stuck at a desk somewhere, and we have to spend hours on the phone trying to clear it up. It’s not always fun, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this address for a good number of years now. We know the post office staff and the other guys in the building. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy website that does everything for us. We just rely on the relationships we’ve built over time. It’s a lot of practical, day-to-day work that requires a lot of patience. We just keep at it every day, making sure the goods are packed right and the labels are on straight. It is just steady, plain work.
