Our workshop is located near the Old Chora Ganjivas in Kalol. It is a very busy part of town and the address can be a bit confusing for people who are not from around here. We are in the Gandhinagar district of Gujarat. Suvik Electronics Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this same spot for a long time. The building is an old-style structure that has definitely seen better days, but it is solid enough for what we need. We have a lot of heavy equipment and spare parts packed into the available space. It usually smells a bit like solder and old paper when you first walk in. We do not really do any kind of marketing or have a dedicated sales team to find new customers. We just wait for the phone to ring or for local people to drop by with their specific requirements. It is a very traditional way of working that suits us. Most of our day is spent looking at small electronic parts and checking off lists. We have a small sitting area for guests, though the chairs are usually covered in technical manuals. The local market is right there, so it is always easy to grab a quick lunch. We are not some big corporate giant, just a small team in Kalol doing our thing. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside muddy, but we just keep working.
