Suresh Surana & Associates is tucked away in the Sudarshan Apartment building over in Satadhar. We've been operating out of this Ghatlodia spot in Ahmedabad for a while now. It’s a busy area, but our office stays pretty focused on the paperwork. Most of the folks who come through our doors are looking for help with tax filings or just trying to make sense of their annual accounts. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just a regular office where we sit down with spreadsheets and calculators. Dealing with the government rules can be a real headache for people, so they drop off their folders here. We go through things page by page. Sometimes the traffic outside near Satadhar gets loud, but we just keep working through the files. It's mostly local businesses and families from around Gujarat who stop by. We try to keep things straightforward. No one really likes talking about taxes, but it’s something everyone has to do eventually. If you're walking around the D-1 section of the building, you'll see our sign. We usually have a few piles of paper on the desks because there's always something to reconcile or a deadline coming up. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we do here in Ahmedabad. We just stick to the numbers and try to get the forms sent off on time so people don't get those notices in the mail. We’ve been in the D-1 unit for quite some time.
