Suntech Technologies is tucked away inside Mohan Residency over in Jyotinagar. It’s near the Rb Landmark Building, which is how most people find us if they get lost. Working out of a residential-style building gives the place a different feel than a regular office block. It’s quieter, mostly, unless we have some hardware being tested that makes a bit of a racket. We deal with various tech things throughout the day. Our desks are usually covered in cables, spare parts, and half-empty coffee mugs. It’s not the neatest workspace you’ll ever see, but it works for us. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. Usually, if the bell rings, one of us just gets up to see who it is. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and trying to figure out why things aren't working the way they should. It can be frustrating sometimes, but that’s just the nature of technology. We are just a group of people who enjoy tinkering and fixing things. We don't wear suits or follow strict corporate rules here. As long as the work gets done and the customers are satisfied, we are happy. Sometimes we stay late when we’re in the middle of a project, and other times we head out early if things are caught up. We usually have some old parts sitting in the corner that we might use for something one day, though they mostly just collect dust. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, which helps us think better when we’re solving problems.
