Sterling Abrasives Ltd.

Sterling Abrasives Ltd. is out at Plot No. 45/46 in the G.I.D.C area on Odhav Road. If you know Odhav, you know it is mostly factories and warehouses, and we are right in the middle of all that. It gets quite dusty around here with all the trucks going past every day, so we spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy. Our plot is basically a large workspace with some area for storage and a small corner for the office stuff. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. There is an old desk where the paperwork gets done and a few chairs for when we need to sit down for a minute. The heat can be a bit much in the middle of the day, especially since the roof is metal, but we have a few fans that help. Most of the people working here have been around for years and we all know how the machines sound when they are running right. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or anything like that. People usually find us because they need something specific and they know where Plot 45/46 is. It is a straightforward kind of place to work. We come in early, do what needs doing, and then head home once the shift is over. It is just a normal industrial job for us and we keep things simple.
