Sohum Computer Institute

Sohum Computer Institute is over in the Satellite area of Ahmedabad. We are located in Sachin Park, which is on Satellite Road. If you are coming from the Jodhpur Gam side, it’s quite easy to find us. Ahmedabad gets incredibly hot in the summer, so we spend a lot of our time making sure the air conditioning in the computer lab is actually working. The institute is basically just a few rooms filled with computers and desks. We focus on teaching people how to use various programs and get comfortable with technology. It’s a fairly quiet part of Satellite Road compared to the main junctions, but it still has its fair share of traffic. We have a lot of local students who live nearby in the Gam or the surrounding societies. Usually, we start the day by checking all the systems and making sure the internet is running okay. We don't have a big corporate structure here; it’s just us doing the teaching and managing the schedules. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit during the evening when it finally cools down. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years with more shops opening up, but we’ve stayed in the same spot. It’s a simple setup where we just focus on the lessons. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they saw our name while passing by.
