Sijcon Consultant Pvt Ltd is situated at 25/2 near the Gujarat Vidyapith on Ashram Road in Ahmedabad. This is a very central part of the city, so there is always a lot of movement outside our windows. Being on Ashram Road means we are close to a lot of history, but inside the office, it is all about the consulting work. We spend our days looking at plans, talking to clients on the phone, and trying to sort out the various problems that come our way. The office is filled with files and drawings. We have a few big tables where we can spread everything out to get a good look at what we are doing. It is not a flashy place. We have some comfortable chairs because we spend a lot of time sitting down, and that is about it. The staff here is pretty small, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One minute you might be answering the door and the next you are looking at a technical report. We have been here for a while and have seen the city change quite a bit from our spot. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. It is steady work, and we like the routine of being in this part of Ahmedabad. Sometimes it gets hectic with deadlines, but we usually manage to get through the paperwork eventually.
