Shri Ranchhodray Medical

Our place, Shri Ranchhodray Medical, is right in the Odhav area. We are located very close to the Murlidhar Brts Bus Stand, which means we hear the buses coming and going all day long. It’s a loud, busy part of town, but we’ve gotten used to the noise. Because the bus stand is right there, we get a lot of people who are just passing through and need something while they wait for their ride. The shop is a bit narrow, so we have to be smart about where we put everything so people can move around. We have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling, and we keep a small step ladder handy to reach the top rows. The floor is showing some wear from all the people walking in and out, but it’s a sturdy place. We don't have any fancy missions or corporate talk. We just show up every morning, unlock the front, and get to work. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and chatting with the other shopkeepers nearby. Sometimes the dust from the road construction in Odhav gets everywhere, so we are always cleaning the counters and the glass cases. It’s just how things are in this part of the city. We like being near the Brts stand because there is always some life and movement outside. It’s a busy, dusty, real kind of place, and we are happy to be part of the neighborhood.
