Shrey System

Our shop, Shrey System, is in Devamandir Society over in Chandlodia. It is near the Dhanjibhai S Kuwa landmark, which everyone around here knows. Ahmedabad gets really hot, so we usually have a big fan pointed right at the workbench. We spend most of our time fixing computers and looking at motherboards. There are always spare parts and old monitors sitting in the corners. It is a bit messy because we have so many projects going on at once. People from the society drop by with their laptops when they won't turn on. We talk to them while we work. It is a very local kind of business. We do not wear uniforms or anything like that. Just regular clothes and sometimes we have grease on our hands from the machines. The floor is tiled and easy to sweep up after we drill something. We have a small desk for the bills and a landline that rings quite often. Sometimes we go out to people's houses if their systems are too big to carry here. It is just a steady life of fixing things and making sure the technology works like it should for our neighbors. Chandlodia is a busy place but our little corner in Devamandir is where we feel at home.
