Shree Vinayak Stores

You can find us right near the Muhafizkhan Masjid on Gheekanta Road. The area is called Pittaliya Bamba. It’s a very old part of the city and it gets incredibly crowded during the day. Shree Vinayak Stores has been here for a long time. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot of stuff onto the shelves. It can be hard to find things sometimes if you don't know where to look. We usually know exactly where everything is, even the small stuff tucked in the back corners. The street outside is always full of scooters and people walking. It’s noisy and dusty, but it’s got a lot of energy. We open early and stay open until fairly late. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. We don't do any big marketing or have a fancy website. People just know we are here. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside when it’s not too busy. The masjid nearby is a good landmark for people who aren't from around here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but the essence of the market stays the same. We just try to keep the stock replenished and help people find what they need. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We like the daily bustle of life on Gheekanta Road and wouldn't move.
