Kumkum Sales Depot

If you ever find yourself around Madhupura Chowk, you’ll probably see where we are. Kumkum Sales Depot is located right at 1237/2, over in Thakar Vas. It’s one of those spots that feels very lived-in. The area is always crowded with people going to and from the market, and the noise from the chowk is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We open up early because that’s when the first lot of customers usually shows up. Most of our day involves moving stock around and talking to people who stop by the depot. It’s a small place, so things can get a bit cramped when a big delivery arrives. We don’t really use any fancy systems; we just keep track of everything in our ledgers and make sure the shelves aren't empty. Being in Thakar Vas means we see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes things slow down, so we take a break and have some tea. It is just a regular shop doing regular things. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. Our address at 1237/2 is home for us during the day, and we like the routine of it. There is always something to stack or someone to help out at the counter. We mostly just focus on the daily chores and getting the sales done without too much of a headache.
