Shree New Gopal Motor Driving School

Our office is in the Supath Complex right on Ashram Road. If you are familiar with Ahmedabad, you know that the area near the Old Wadaj Bus Stop is always moving. There are buses and rickshaws everywhere. Shree New Gopal Motor Driving School is tucked into the B-32 unit. It is a practical spot for a driving school because if you can learn to drive around here, you can probably drive anywhere in the world. We spend most of our day out on the roads with students. We use the small lanes near Juna Wadaj when someone is just starting out so they don't get too scared of the heavy traffic. Then we eventually move out to the main roads. The cars get a lot of wear and tear, but we keep them running. It is mostly just about being patient with people who are nervous. We see all kinds of people, from students at the university to housewives who want to be independent. The complex itself is an older building, so it has that lived-in feel. We keep our schedules on a big log book and try to make sure everyone gets their turn behind the wheel. It is not a complicated business. We just help people get their licenses and feel okay about being in the driver's seat. It is decent work and we like being near the bus stop.
