Shree Hari World Of Gifts

We are tucked away in Swastik Chambers, right behind C. U. Shah College on Ashram Road. It’s a bit of a hidden spot, B/2, but students from the college find us easily enough. The shop is full of all sorts of things—toys, frames, and little knick-knacks that people give for birthdays. It’s usually a bit of a mess because there are so many boxes to unpack. We spend a lot of time wrapping things in shiny paper and trying to find where we put the tape. The room is small and the shelves are packed tight. You have to be careful not to knock something over when you walk through the aisles. Ashram Road is always loud, but being behind the college cuts out some of that noise. We’ve been here for a while, seeing different batches of students come and go. Sometimes parents come in looking for something specific, and we have to dig through the back storage to find it. It isn't a high-end boutique or anything. It's just a gift shop with a lot of variety. We try to keep the prices fair so the kids can afford something. It’s a lot of dusting and rearranging, but it’s nice to see people leave with something they like. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by.
