Shirali Handicrafts

Our workshop is over at 6, S. V. Estate, right off the Bavla High Road. It’s near the Jamnagar Transport area in Sarkhej, so there are always trucks moving around nearby. Shirali Handicrafts is where we spend all our hours. It’s a bit of a dusty spot sometimes because of the road, but we don’t mind it much. We’ve got our setup here and it works for what we do. It’s not a showroom or anything fancy. It’s where the actual work happens. You can hear the noise from the high road if the doors are open. We have a few people working here, mostly local folks who know the craft. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just make things. The location is handy because of all the transport links, which makes it easier to get things where they need to go. We’ve been in this estate for a while now. Everyone around here knows each other. We say hello to the drivers and the other shop owners. It’s a practical place to be. We aren't interested in being in a big glass building in the city. This suits us just fine. We just keep our heads down and focus on the pieces we are making. That’s how we’ve always done it at Shirali Handicrafts. It’s just us and our tools, doing the work we know how to do.
