Being in the Studio Complex near Gota Cross Road means we deal with a lot of noise from the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Road. It’s a busy part of Gota. Our space is filled with files and some old furniture that’s seen better days. We do export work, so there are always stacks of documents sitting on someone's desk. The light in the office is okay, but it gets dark in the corners when the sun starts to go down. We’ve been here for a long time. We know the neighbors in the complex. Sometimes we stand out by the stairs just to get some fresh air. The SG Highway is always loud, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have fancy decorations. Most of the space is taken up by the things we are sending out. We check the labels and make sure the weights are right. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking. The floor is concrete and we’ve got a few old fans that keep the air moving. When the rain comes, the sound on the roof is really loud. We just keep working through it. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Nothing about this place is meant to impress anyone. We just do what we need to do and go home. It’s a solid place to work for us.
