You’ll find our office at 28 D Pavitranagar, right across from where the old Cadila Laboratories used to be in Ghodasar. It’s a well-known landmark in this part of Ahmedabad. I’ve been working as a chartered accountant here for quite some time now. The office is part of a residential-style building, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than those big glass towers in the city center. We handle taxes, audits, and all the usual accounting stuff that people find boring or stressful. It’s mostly just me and a few assistants. During tax season, this place is a mess of papers and folders. We stay late and drink way too much chai. The rest of the year is a bit calmer. Clients usually come in for a chat and we go through their receipts and bills. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving. We’ve got a small waiting area, though people usually just walk straight back to the desk. It’s an honest living and we’ve built up a good relationship with the local shopkeepers and families around Ghodasar. We don't go in for big marketing or fancy websites.
