People usually find us right across from the Municipal Market. We are tucked into the Samir Complex on C.G. Road, occupying units 207 and 208/A. It’s a busy part of Navrangpura and finding parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we’ve been here for a while now. Most days it is just us sitting behind the glass counters, cleaning up the displays or checking the weight of some gold pieces that came in. We don’t have fancy soft music playing all the time, just the normal sounds of the city coming in through the door. The lighting inside is bright because you need to see what you are looking at when it comes to jewellery. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who have been coming to this area for years. Sometimes they just stop by to say hello while they are out doing their regular shopping at the market. It’s a small team here. We keep our ledgers, answer the phone, and try to keep everything organized in the safes. It is not always exciting work, but it is what we do. The morning starts with opening the heavy shutters and the evening ends with locking them back up. There is a lot of paperwork involved with being a private limited company that people don't see. We just try to get through the day’s tasks and make sure the inventory matches the books before we head home.
