You can find us at 401, Ansuya Flats in Nava Vadaj. We are right opposite Sabartat Society. It is a typical Ahmedabad residential building, so the office feels very lived-in. Scarlett Designs Pvt. Ltd. is the name on the door, but it is just a plain door like any other flat. Being on the fourth floor means we get a bit of a breeze, which is helpful during the summer months. The elevator is small, so if there are more than three of us, someone has to wait. Inside, it is a bit of a maze of desks and samples. We have fabric swatches and color charts all over the place. It’s not very tidy, to be honest, but we know where everything is. Nava Vadaj is a busy area, but our street is tucked away enough that it doesn't get too noisy. We have been here for a while and the landlord is a nice guy who doesn't bother us much. Usually, we start around nine and stay until the work is done. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just like designing things and this flat gives us the space to do that without too much overhead. Sometimes we have tea on the small balcony and watch the traffic over near Sabartat Society. It’s a simple way to spend the workday and get things done.
