Saurabh Shodhan

Usmanpura is a decent area in Ahmedabad. Our spot is in Aangan Apartment, specifically room 101. It’s part of the Modh Champaner Society. It’s a residential building, so it feels more like a home than a business place. Saurabh Shodhan is the name on the door. We don't have a lot of space, but we make it work. The apartment is on the first floor, which is nice because we don't have to wait for the lift every time. Most of our neighbors are families, so we try to keep the noise down. The society is pretty old, but it’s well-kept. Inside, we have a couple of computers and a lot of books. It’s not very polished. Sometimes the chairs don’t match. We don’t really care about that as long as the work gets done. Ahmedabad gets really dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the desks. We have our tea breaks at the same time every afternoon. It’s just a small group of us. We don’t have a big corporate culture. We just talk like regular people and handle our business. If you come by, you might hear the kids playing in the society grounds outside. It’s a very grounded way to work. No big missions or vision statements on the walls. Just 101 Aangan Apartment where we spend our hours making sure everything is in order. It’s simple and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the daily tasks.
