Satyanarayan Decorators

We are located inside Nutan Electrical, which is right near Nutan School at Bhojak Bhuvan in Ghatlodia. It’s a bit of a crowded area, especially when school lets out and the kids are everywhere. We share some space here, so there are wires and bulbs from the electrical side mixed in with our decorating gear. Most of the time, the shop is a bit dusty because we are constantly moving wooden frames and rolls of carpet. We do a lot of work for local weddings and small functions in the Ghatlodia neighborhood. You might see us loading a rickshaw with colorful fabrics or plastic chairs early in the morning. The fans in the shop make a clicking noise that we’ve just learned to ignore. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us who know how to tie knots properly and make a tent stay up. Sometimes the rain catches us off guard, and we have to run to cover the decorations with plastic sheets. It’s hard work on your hands, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it’s just second nature now. People find us because they know the school or they’ve seen our stuff at a neighbor’s party. We just try to do a decent job with the stuff we have and keep the equipment in good shape. It is a noisy, lively spot to work in every day of the week.
