Our office is 306 Shangrila Arcade, right at the Shyamal Cross Roads on the 100Ft Road in Satellite. It’s a busy building with a lot of other businesses. Meeka Software is just a group of us sitting behind computers most of the day. We spend a lot of time typing and looking at screens. Sometimes the office is really quiet because everyone is focused, and other times we are all arguing about a bit of code. It’s a small space, so we can’t really get away from each other. We’ve got some desks, a few chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of coffee cups. Satellite is a great area because there are plenty of places to grab a quick snack when we need a break from the monitors. We don’t do big fancy launches or anything. We just write the software and try to fix the bugs as they come up. It’s not always glamorous work, and sometimes we stay late when a project is acting up. The view from the arcade isn't much, just the traffic on the 100Ft Road, but it keeps us connected to the city. We’ve been here for a while and the routine hasn't changed much. It’s just us, our keyboards, and trying to make the programs work the way they should for the people using them. We just enjoy the challenge of figuring out the logic behind it all.
