Sarva Seva

Our office is on the first floor of Prerak Apartment, right on Gujarat College Road. We are tucked away in the lane near the Wagh Bakri Depot in the Ellis Bridge area. It’s a bit of a quieter spot compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer. Sarva Seva has been operating out of this apartment for a good while now. It feels more like a home than a sterile office, probably because of the layout and the way we’ve set things up. We have chairs for visitors and a few desks where we handle our daily paperwork. Being near the college means there are always students and people walking around outside. We often hear the sounds of the street coming through the windows. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in Ahmedabad; we just want to be helpful to the folks who come to us. Our staff is small, but we’ve been together long enough that we don't need to say much to know what needs doing. We keep things pretty informal here. There’s no dress code or fancy rules. We just show up, drink our tea, and get to work. Sometimes the building's main gate sticks a little, but everyone knows how to wiggle it open. It’s just one of those local things. If you are looking for us, just look for the Wagh Bakri Depot lane, and you’ll find the apartment building easily enough. We usually have a spare umbrella by the door for anyone caught in the rain.
