Sanjivani Eye Hospital & Phaco Centre

Our eye hospital is located on the 3rd floor of the Soham Complex in Navrangpura. We are right at the Darpan Five Roads intersection, which can be a real headache to navigate sometimes because of the Ahmedabad traffic. We are near the C P Chambers building. Since we are on the third floor, you have to take the lift up. The hospital has been here for quite some time, focusing on general eye care and Phaco surgeries. It’s a busy place. We have different rooms for testing and the surgery area. It’s not a fancy corporate hospital with a huge lobby. It’s more of a focused medical center where the doctors and nurses are always on their feet. We see a lot of elderly patients coming in for cataract work. The view from the third floor gives you a good look at the Five Roads mess below. We try to keep things organized, but on busy mornings, it can get a bit chaotic with everyone coming and going. We don't use any slick marketing phrases. We just do the exams and the surgeries. People come from all over Ahmedabad because they’ve heard about us from their relatives. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one patient at a time. It’s a practical, hardworking environment every day of the week. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we tell people to come early.
