Our office is located at number 5, Samruddhi, which is right across from Sakar-III in the Navrangpura area. It is a central part of town, so there is always something going on outside. We work with lenses, which means our space has to be kept a bit cleaner than your average workshop. We have a few specialized machines and some benches where the fine work happens. It is a quiet kind of environment because you have to concentrate on the details. We have a small team of people who have been doing this for years. Navrangpura is a good spot for us because it is easy for people to find. The building is not new, but it is sturdy and serves our purpose well enough. We do not have a fancy front desk or a receptionist greeting people. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up from what they are doing. We spend a lot of time looking through microscopes or checking the specs on a lens order. It is a lot of precise work and it can be tiring on the eyes after a full day. We have some filing cabinets that are overflowing with old records and a small corner where we make tea. It is just a simple place where we get the work done and try to keep up with the local demand for what we do. Nothing more, nothing less.
