Kamal Eye Care

Kamal Eye Care is over in the GIDC Industrial Estate, specifically Phase L in Vatava at No. 5/37. It’s an interesting spot for an eye care place, right in the middle of all the factories and industrial units. We spend our days testing people's sight and helping them pick out frames that won't break while they are at work. The office is kept clean and quiet, which is a nice change from the noise of the estate outside. We have the usual equipment for checking eyes and a display case with various glasses. It is mostly just the two of us working here. We see a lot of workers from the nearby plants who need their vision checked because they spend all day looking at small parts or screens. We try to keep things straightforward and don't use a lot of big medical words if we can help it. It’s about making sure people can see what they are doing. The parking outside can be a bit dusty because of the trucks, but we try to keep the inside nice. We’ve been in Vatava for a while now and know most of the other shop owners around this block. We just open the doors, wait for the first patient, and spend the day making sure the lenses are cut right. It’s a steady pace and we like the daily routine of the industrial area.
